Syncopate is a modern and stylish sans-serif typeface designed primarily for headlines and display settings. It employs a unicase design, abandoning the traditional lowercase x-height in favor of a uniform uppercase height across all alpha and numeric glyphs. This approach includes uppercase glyphs copied into lowercase slots and some lowercase letters scaled to uppercase size, providing a fresh and lively typographic voice. The font's light weight combined with a wide body imparts elegance, while its design allows for diverse setting possibilities. Although intended for display, Syncopate performs well in limited text applications. A bold weight was introduced in 2011 to complement the original light style.
