Nova Slim

About

Nova Slim is a display typeface designed by Wojciech Kalinowski, featuring a single normal style weight. It originated from the NovaCut font created for stone inscriptions, later expanded with lowercase and additional characters. Nova Slim is one of six fonts in the Nova family, each named to reflect their unique shapes. It supports Latin and Latin-Extended scripts.

Overview

Nova Slim is a display font characterized by its slim, condensed letterforms, making it suitable for striking headlines and signage. It evolved from a historical inscription style, initially existing only in capitals and digits before being digitized and expanded. As part of the Nova family, it shares design DNA with related fonts such as Nova Round, Nova Flat, and Nova Cut, each offering distinct stylistic variations. This font is best used where a narrow, elegant display face is desired.
