Mallanna is a Telugu sans-serif font characterized by its round shapes and consistent stroke weight, reflecting the aesthetic of Hyderabad's famous pearls. It performs well at small point sizes, ensuring clarity and readability. The design includes complex Telugu conjuncts and a Latin alphabet derived from Nunito, making it versatile for bilingual typesetting. The Telugu design was created by Purushoth Kumar Guttula, with the Latin by Vernon Adams, and the project is led by Appaji Ambarisha Darbha.
