Karla Tamil Inclined is part of the Karla family, designed to support the Tamil script with inclined styles available in Regular and Bold weights. It is a sans serif typeface intended for clear, legible text. The font is compatible with Mac OS X, Windows, and GNU+Linux systems but does not render correctly on iOS devices due to OpenType Layout shaping limitations.
Overview
Karla Tamil Inclined is a grotesque sans serif typeface family that supports languages using the Tamil script. This variant offers inclined styles in two weights: Regular and Bold. While the Latin part of Karla is available separately, this Tamil subset is designed specifically for Tamil script support. It is compatible with most desktop operating systems but currently does not render correctly on iPhones and iPads due to the lack of AAT shaping support for Tamil OpenType Layout features on iOS.
