Overview

Encode Sans Expanded is a versatile workhorse sans serif design, featuring a huge range of weights and widths, ready for all kinds of typographic challenges. This is the Expanded family, which is part of the superfamily along with Normal, Condensed, Semi Condensed, and Semi Expanded families, each with nine weights. The project is led by Impallari Type, a foundry based in Rosario, Argentina. It was initially designed by Pablo Impallari and Andres Torresi.
