It supports multiple scripts including Latin, Cyrillic, and Vietnamese, and offers both normal and italic styles. The typeface is well-suited for expressive headlines and sophisticated editorial use, drawing inspiration from classical Garamond aesthetics without direct replication.

Overview

Cormorant is a free display type family developed by Christian Thalmann. The project comprises 45 font files across 9 visual styles and 5 weights, including Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold, and Bold. It supports Cyrillic, Latin, and Vietnamese scripts and includes both italic and normal styles. The design was created from scratch with a nod to Garamond's legacy, making it ideal for elegant and artistic typographic applications.
